How We Work
First fix is set out against the finished layout rather than the shell, because a socket is positioned relative to the furniture and a light relative to the ceiling grid — both of which are decided before the wall closes or not at all. Drops, switch heights and drainage falls are agreed with the ceiling and joinery setting-out at the same time. Work is tested before it is covered, since every subsequent trade makes it more expensive to reach.
Why Us
The wall the wiring goes into and the ceiling the lighting hangs from are ours. That is what makes it possible to fix a light position against a cove that has not been built yet and have both land right — the alternative is a chase cut into a finished wall, which is the single most common way a good fit-out ends up looking retrofitted.
